Yesterday went to Supperclub to lend support to a friend who is competing in – Pole Dance!

Talk about pole dance, I believe many will think about the sleazy skimpy cladding gals in a dark mood lighting, with men blowing cigars and drinking whisky.

Hell NO!

Its not about providing a sleazy sex show. In my brutally manner of tone, I see it as a explicit of power and skills to artistically portray a mind blowing love making session with the pole. It is a Sport and Art!

Pole dancing is a form of dancing / gymnastics that takes muscular endurance and coordination as well as sensuality. It involves dancing with a vertical pole where the dancer may simply hold the pole, or use it to perform more athletic moves such as climbs, spins, and body inversions. Upper body and core strength are important to proficiency, which takes time to develop.

Pole Dance is now a recognised form of exercise adopted by women from all over the world and can be used as both an aerobic and anaerobic workout. It is more than just a sexy routine danced around a pole. It requires strength, flexibility and athleticism in order to execute the moves well and with ease. Mastering tricks on the pole is a very empowering experience.

And during yesterday night competition, I found out that there are actually 2 kind of pole. A spinner and a static pole and the competition was classified into erotic dance and ecstatic dance Exotic and Fit pole. Exotic focuses on artistry of the performance while fit pole focus on the technicality of the moves. Either way, artistry and technicality are both important components in any pole dancing routine like gymnastics, both requires a certain amount of skills in climbing, spinning, inversion and more~

We are also treated with a spectacular show by Ms Suzie Q, perpetual runner up Miss Pole Dance Australia (2005, 2006 and 2008… “Sponsor’s Choice” in 2007). She is the current Miss Pole Dance NSW, a Penthouse Pet and Miss Nude Australia 2008. She is also the host of Sexpo around Australia. A former member of Aerobics Oz Style and qualified Personal Trainer.

She did the Ariel Hoop and the Pole show. Its exotically stunning~

Do drop by MsChorLor once she got the photos and videos uploaded.

If you girl friend tells you she wanna go pole dancing, support her.Recognised schools and qualifications are being developed as pole dancing increases in popularity. Pole dancing is also regarded by many as a performing art. Pole dancing was even performed in Singapore’s 2009 National Day Parade.

The people dubbed him as “Brother Sharp” in chinese.

He became an internet sensation after his photos were seen on net. People were talking about how handsome, cool and sexy looking he is. How he even looks like a Japanese or Korean actor.

He became so popular, that people are searching on the streets for him, some hoping to catch a look of him, while some wishes to help him. He was even on the front cover of a magazine !

But he was too overwhelmed by the sudden sensation, he is frightened by the crowd, he will always cry and sort of lose his minds when too many people approached him.

Someone who knows him said that he does not beg for food or money on the street. He will pick up cigarette butts or food from the floor or trashbin instead.

There are many versions of why he ended up on the street. But the real unknown.

He is also often seen with carrying a woman’s handbag and wearing woman clothes. But he is not a crossdresser or a trans!

His dream is to find a woman who love him. And dressing up as a woman, sometimes, he pretends to be the woman who loves him and is with him………..

Yes, the openly bisexual Sir Elton John teams up with homophobic rapper, Eminem to sing “Stan” at the 43rd Annual Grammy awards. I suppose pairing the odd couple had its advantages as the performance became the talk of the town for years until this very day. The most spectacular bit was Eminem embracing Sir Elton John at the end of their performance and then followed by showing the crowd his middle finger.

One actress attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival hopes her movie will do more than entertain — she wants it to be a positive step for transgender people everywhere.

Maria Clara Spinelli is one of the stars of the Brazilian film “Paulista,” which follows three people plunging into love.

Their stories intersect in their apartment building on Paulista Avenue, located in the heart of São Paulo, a throbbing, fast-paced, diverse city.

Director Roberto Moreira, visiting Palm Springs for the first time, said he wants filmgoers to leave with the message that, “To find love, you need to break your illusions.”

Spinelli plays Suzana, a buttoned-up lawyer who tentatively opens her heart to another attorney. In the end, her lover cannot resolve the fact that Suzana was once a man.

It is a courageous role in that Spinelli, who herself has made the voyage from male to female, makes Suzana completely unremarkable.

She is not played for shock value. She is not torn about her identity. She is not exploited.

She is simply a woman who wants to be loved.

“That’s what makes the character so fascinating,” Spinelli said, with the help of a translator. “She is a paradox. The fact is that she’s a transsexual, but she’s the most conservative one in the film. People assume that she would be the flamboyant, overly sexual one, and it is not so.

“The fact that she is a transsexual is just one part of her. She is so much more than that.”

Her performance recently garnered a best actress award from the Paulinea Film Festival in Brazil.

Spinelli was floored, considering she didn’t think the award committee would even accept a transsexual in the category for best actress.

“It made me extremely happy and very thankful that they trusted me and believed in my talent,” she said. “This is about acting, not about who I am.”

The director said such a thing has never happened before in his country.

“Brazil is a very open-minded, sexual country, but there is a certain amount of Latin machismo that is difficult to overcome,” Moreira said. “The political implications are huge.”

Moreira, who also wrote the script, said his goal was to create a movie that goes a step further than typical gay drama.

“There is a transsexual, but this is not focused on should she get the (gender reassignment) surgery or not. For the lesbian, it’s not a coming out story. We are beyond that,” he said. “This a story of ‘how do I live? How do I love?’ Those are universal themes that everyone can relate to.”

I got this in an email and I find it very sweet. Hint : TREAT ME GOOD! lolx

There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park. Everyone passed by her and never stopped to see why she looked so sad. Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty, the girl just sat and watched the people go by. She never tried to speak, she never say a word. Many people passed but no one would stop.

The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see if the little girl would still be there. Yes, she was there, right in the very spot as she was yesterday, and still with the sad look in her eyes. Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl. For as we all know, a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to play alone. As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl’s dress was obscenely shaped. I figured mat was the reason people just passed by and made no effort to help. Deformities are a blow to our society and, heaven forbids if you make a step toward assisting someone who is different. As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to avoid to avoid my intent stare. As I got approached her, I could see the obscene shape of her back more clearly. She was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form. I smiled to let her know it was okay, I was there to help, to talk. I sat down beside her and opened with a simple hello. The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a “hi”, after a long stare into my eyes. I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked until darkness fell and the park was completely empty. I asked the girl why she was so sad. The little girl looked at me and with a sad face said, “because I’m different .” I immediately said, “that you are!” and smiled. The little acted even sadder and said, “I know.” “Little girl,” I said, you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent. She looked at me and smiled. Slowly she got to her feet and said, “really?” “Yes , you’re like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch over all those people walking by. “She shook her head yes, and smiled. With that she spread her wings and said, “I am. I’m your Guardian Angel,” with an twinkle in her eyes. I was speechless, sure I was seeing things. She said, “for once you thought of someone other than yourself, my job here is done. “I got my feet and said, “wait. So why did no one stop to help an angel?” She looked at me and smiled, “You’re the only one that could see me,” and then she was gone.

And with that, my life was changed dramatically. So, when you think you’re all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you. Pass this to everyone that means anything at all to you… make sure you send it back to the person who sent it to you, let them know you’re glad they care about you… like the story says, we all need someone.

Every one of your friends is an Angel in their own way. The value of a friend is measured in the heart. “We should be careful how we treat someone, because unaware, we might be entertaining an angel – that’s scripture!”

Dear all female friends going to Hong Kong ,

I am emailing solemn advice, and will describe a first hand bad experience.
If you are a female, or have any female friends you care dearly about, please let them know the following:

Be extra vigilant when walking alone in crowded area in Hong Kong , particularly in Tsim Sha Tsui. If possible, have someone accompany you at all times when out and about during evening.

On 31st October, 2008 at 2010pm, I, Teresa Tong, got stabbed by a sedative needle on my forearm around Cameron Road , Tsim Sha Tsui. Before I knew what had happened to me, a fainting spell rushed through me and I was semi-paralyzed.

Thanks to Jenny, my friend in Germany who frequently passed me chain mails regarding female threats around the cities, I instantly knew what had happened to me. I have became a target of theft and robbery.

It was all written in that chain mail if I fainted, a group of mob will act as if I was drunken, picked me up, took me in remote place and rob … perhaps for more indecent physical assaults.

The mail didn’t advise the action to take, so while I still maintained my conscious, it was a split-second of decisiveness that prevented me from being robbed. The reason I can still write this facebook note now is because I took the following actions:

When conscious, I pushed myself away from the crowd and RAN TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVING LANE in Cameron Road . It was an act out of panic but with hindsight. Fainting in the middle of the road prevents unwanted pickups and mobs attacks, and will catch instant attention from the police.

The fainting spell lasted for approximately 2 minutes. When consciousness returned, I called my friends to pick me up I sought immediate medical treatment! After several tests, it turned out that it was a mild amount of sedative that went into my bloodstream and nothing too serious.

I saw all these sinister acts on internet forums, chain mails and, like most of you I’d never imagined one day I’d be a victim. Today, I share this note with all of you to put the seriousness of this situation into your attention, and also to share with you one technique for when this situation should ever arise.

I considered my escape a lucky one. But the next victim may not be so lucky. Please pass this mail to all female friends you know and care about. They need to know about this it is happening around the corner of our city, not so distant..

Cheers,
Teresa Tong

P.S: The person who stabbed me was a mid-length curly hair middle age woman. She looked like an ordinary “C Lai” (aunty), but by what she did obviously she couldn’t have been alone in the plot.
IF THIS CAN HAPPEN IN H.K. IT CAN HAPPEN IN ANY CITY. “BE AWARE” & “BE
ALERT”

Just beware, you never know, it may really happen to you………………..

SCENE 1.

This is a new one.

People sure stay busy trying to cheat us, don’t they?

A friend went to the local gym and placed his belongings in the locker. After the workout and a shower, he came out, saw the locker open, and thought to himself, ‘Funny, I thought I locked the locker.

Hmm, ‘He dressed and just flipped the wallet to make sure all was in order.

Everything looked okay – all cards were in place.

A few weeks later his credit card bill came – a whooping bill of $14,000!

He called the credit card company and started yelling at them, saying that he did not make the t! ransactions.

Customer care personnel verified that there was n o Mistake in the system and asked if his card had been stolen.

‘No,’ he said, but then took out his wallet, pulled out the credit card, and yep – you guessed it – a switch had been made

An expired similar credit car from the same bank was in the wallet.

The thief broke into his locker at the gym and switched cards.

Verdict: The credit card issuer said since he did not report the card missing earlier, he would have to pay the amount owed to them.
How much did he have to pay for items he did not buy?
$9,000! Why were there no calls made to verify the amount swiped?

Small amounts rarely trigger a ‘warning bell’ with some credit card companies.

It just so happens that all the small amounts added up to big one!

SCENE 2.

A man at a local restaurant paid for his meal with his credit card.

The bill for the meal came, he signed it,and the waitress folded the receipt and passed the credit card along

Usually, he would just take it and place it in his wallet or pocket. Funny enough, though, he actually took a look at the card and, lo and behold, it was the expired card of another person.

He called the waitress and she looked perplexed.

She took it back, apologized, and hurried back to the counter under the watchful eye of the man.

All the waitress did while walking to the counter was wave the wrong expired card to the counter cashier, and the counter cashier immediately looked down and took out the real card.

No exchange of words — nothing! She took it a! nd came back to the man with an apology.

Verdict:
Make sure the credit cards in your wallet are yours. Check the name on the card every time you sign for something and/or the card is taken away fo even a short period of time.

Many people just take back the credit card without even looking at it, ‘assuming’ that it has to be theirs.

FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DEV EL OP THE HABIT OF CHECKING YOUR CREDIT CARD EACH TIME IT IS RETURNED TO YOU AFTER A TRANSACTION!

SCENE 3:

Yesterday I went into a pizza restaurant to pick up an order that I had! called in.

I paid by using my Visa Check Card which, of course, is linked directly to my checking account.

The young man behind the counter took my card, swiped it, then laid it on the counter as he waited for the approval, which is pretty standard procedure.

While he waited, he picked up his cell phone and started dialing.

I noticed the phone because it is the same model I have, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then I heard a click that sounded like my phone sounds when I take a picture.

He then gave me back my card but kept the phone in his hand as if he was still pressing buttons.

M! eanwhile, I’m thinking: I wonder what he is taking a picture of, oblivious to what was really going on.

I then dawned on me: the only thing there was my credit card, so now I’m paying close attention to what he is doing.

He set his phone on the counter, leaving it open.

About five seconds later, I heard the chime that tells you that the picture has been saved.

Now I’m standing there struggling with the fact that this boy just took a picture of my credit card. (He would have taken the card number and security number and you can buy anything on line with the security number and card number !!!)

Yes, he played it off well, because had we not had the same kind of phone, I probably would never have known what happened.

Needless to say, I immediately canceled that card as I was walking out of the pizza parlor.

All I am saying is, be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Whenever you are using your credit card take caution and don’t be careless.

Notice who is standing near you and what they are doing when yo use your card..

Be aware of phones, because many have a camera phone these days.
