Hearing from them their different aspect of life and their difficulties with their families and career. But it is not all bitter. There are many times their laughter is unanimously hearty!

Its just too bad I’m not allow to join the Trans-Men session. Maybe they are not ready to accept a guy into their session (but hey, I’m not any other guy…). Or perhaps they just wanna take baby step in slowly opening up.

In the MtF session, I pointed out to the facilitator and organiser that the set-up is too formal. We sit around in a meeting room with the meeting table separating us. Such set-up might provide some shyness to many. The environment was too strict.

Luckily, the facilitator is good in breaking the ice. Making people feel comfortable and therefore able to talk and discuss much. I would say it is more of a sharing session as we share about our experience ranging from family to career, medication to operation, attitude in life to personality of individual.

One main important key is how to outreach to more confuse or seeking information wanna-be-MtF.

Majority of those presence are “seniors”. Senior in terms that they know what they want, how to gain it and moving towards getting it. But even though, each experience shows that although being a transgendered, life is different at different stages, for the young student, the working adults and those above 40′s.

There are so many to learn for me. Imagine what you (transgender) can learn and gain from it…
