Death laws for homosexuals !
Uganda, a state in East Africa, is proposing for more strict laws against homosexuality.They had submitted their proposal to the parliament.
Such includes death penalty for ‘serial offenders’ or those who commit gay sex when they are HIV positive. It also includes life sentence for those who touch someone with the intent of gay sex or relation. Membership of gay organisations and those funding for them, advocacy of gay human rights groups and people who preach safe sex and the use of condoms, will all be sentenced to 7 years jail. While those who fail to report any of the above will be sentence to 3 years jail.
The above law will also apply to Ugandan citizens who commit gay offences in oversea countries even if homosexuality is not illegal in that country.
This has sent an outroar among gay activists and they comment that Uganda should be thrown out of the 53 nation Commonwealth group of nations. Even Gordan Brown strongly opposes the bill.
However, out of the 53 nations, 40 are still nations that are strongly against homosexuality.
