Everyone has a different view on ‘successful’. In my own view, being rich can be successful, being popular can be successful, achieving something can be successful, being capable can be successful etc etc.

Here, I’m going to let you know about some transgenders out there, whom in my heart, I have always looked at them as successful in their own ways, for their own reasons.

A transgender in her mid 30s, who is a high post manager in a very famous international courier company, dealing with clients at international levels, often traveling.

A transgender in her 50s, who is a business developer, also often traveling to meet clients, who even probably use to earn 5 figure sum a month.

A transgender probably in her 50s too, having her own IT company base in the US I think.

A transgender probably in her 50s, an international level judge for dog shows and championships. Another one probably in her 40s also in the same trade.

A transgender probably in her 40s, district manager for a international supermarket chain in Spore.

A transgender in her 40s, well known make up artist at international level I think.

A transgender in mid 30s, HR cum training manager in a very well known international beauty chain in Spore.

A transgender probably in her 30s, working as an editor I think for local media publishing.

A transgender probably in her 40s working receptionist for a local media publishing.

A transgender probably in her 30s working receptionist in a big well known local shipping company.

A transgender who is a private practice doctor.

A transgender who is a retired teacher.

A transgender working Project Manager in a very big well known construction engineering firm.

A transgender working as a civil engineer.

A transgender working as property agent.

A transgender who use to work as IT for the army.

A transgender who works Investment Advisor in a big local bank.

A transgender who is a musician.

A transgender who is a tour guide.

A transgender in a local well known sports brand retail.

A transgender who is a secretary in a big well known international IT brand.

A few crossdresser who are accountants.

A crossdresser who is a lawyer.

A crossdresser who works in the airport, which I don’t know what post, but some high post with high pay.

A transgender who is a dog groomer.

And of course myself who is a Quantity Surveyor in construction trade.

Then we have our famous model Amy.

And of course we have our famous local transgender activist, Leona Lo, who has got her own media company.

Then I know of one in interior design, two in website design, which I believe there may be many more whom I don’t know.

Of course there should be many much more out there who I don’t know. All these above are people I personally know. Quite a long list ya! I think there will be stilll many more unknown ones usually in the retail trade, F&B, hairstyling, design etc.

Which is why now you see, other than working in Changi or Orchard Towers, there are many more successful trans holding a good job out there. Some of them may even have a better job than you, who say transgenders are useless. If a girl or guy can be capable, so can we.
