well .... how to get it right when this forum caters to polars. We have MTF, FTM, CD, etc...if I see the sample correctly, there is no significant change in design. I see alot of white fonts on black, which I personally find not interesting.

hope my point helps and hope i saw correctly.

No worries... I'm not cool about the black butterfly too.

Initially, SgB had been mainly for the "Feminine" people. About 2 years ago, we strongly go ahead to get the men to talk.

The current pinky theme seems very outdated. As for the layout, minor change will be done.

I'm more interested in getting member to advise on colors. There should be some color scheme that can cater for both feminine and masculine.

Colorful, but not overdo...

If you wanna do an andro version of sgbutterfly do a black & white theme and remove all the current PINKS. I must say i love the current theme and will miss it deeply but totally understand that the current boys needs a piece of the visual action too :).

Blue is more male whilst pink n reds more feminine then how? Beige? Grey? Where the colours are non gender related... If there's such a thing ;)

Wow, I vote for the autumn theme. Autumn is like bracing for winter, longing for spring. preparation for a new begining.

black and brown make it look like moths...

Stick to wp + phpBB3 for content management. Joomla and Drupal tends to be overkills for something simple.

I use J! quite alot so I'm quite aware of the complexities.

Hi kakkuro,
The reason I'm looking into full CMS system, again (use to do postnuke), is to manage only a single user database.

Currently, there isn't any good bridge for WP and phpBB3.

ah. ok. use Joomla then. I have tried Joomla with Kuena. Pretty good. There are alot of cool nifty add-ons like point system etc.

They have some nice facebook/linkedin login add-ons but those need to be purchased. Not very expensive, since they are subscription based. a 6month subscription is more than sufficient.

I have a 1 year one and intend to renew it :D

For Blogging, you can try K2.

But a word of warning. J3 is very confusing. I'm still playing with it and even though I started with J1.0 ... J3.0 is confusing ... lol .. WP is alot easier.

But you are right, combining the database would be logical.

I've never used Drupal, so I can't comment. But I know J! is alot better than Nuke or PostNuke ...
